CHERUSOONAM CONVENT, VARAKKARA

Sisters of St. Martha opened a convent in Varakara, Thrissur Diocese and blessed by Mar Joseph Kundukulam on April 7, 1976. In the same year, we started a nursery school and a large number of students were introduced to the world of learning. Later on we began a tailoring center and it became a blessing for the neighborhood and a livelihood for the women. Now the sisters are engaged actively in the parish apostolate and spreading the Gospel values through their lives.
